• NASA Whole House Super Filter Package (Option 2)

This is our 2nd economic filter package option. It comes with 1 Large NASA 20 inch Whole House Filter, 1 Large Granulated Coconut Shell & Activated Carbon 20 inch Filter (Pre-filter for the NASA Superfilter)  and 2 -10 inch NASA Superfilter.

1st. stage. The granulated coconut and activated carbon filter purifies water by removing/reducing a large variety of organic contaminants such as chlorine, pesticides, herbicides, insecticide, Trihalomethane, Benzene and many volatile organic compounds such as VOC's, polychlorinated biphenyls /

PCB's, MTBE's along with other chemicals and contaminants that may be present in your water down to 5 microns.

2nd stage. The NASA super filter removes viruses, bacteria, lead, copper and other heavy metals along with other chemical contaminants down to 1 nanometers!

3rd stage. The 2 NASA under the sink filters will further clean your water, adding extra layers of protection providing you with ultra pure drinking water!

    Product Description

"The demand safe water is growing as consumers become more aware of waterborne pathogens.

Thanks to cooperative efforts with NASA to develop advanced water recovery systems for long duration space flights, NanoCeram filters far exceed current filtration systems to satisfy the most difficult water treatment requirements.

A variety of filter configurations, including pleated and multi-layer designs, now provide unsurpassed filtration efficiency for industrial, residential and recreational water purification."

Water filters remove undesirable particles, chemicals, and microorganisms from water by means of a semipermeable barrier, adsorption, or biological processes. They are made of densely packed synthetic or natural fibers that trap suspended particles, materials that block microbes or adsorb unwanted chemicals, or substances that cause a chemical change, such as acid neutralization. For most residential, commercial, and industrial applications, water filters are manufactured in the form of replaceable cartridges that fit inside permanent housings. Filtration systems typically consist of a series of two or more types of filters, each designed to remove different contaminants. The performance of filters is measured by the minimum particle size that is blocked, the percentage of particles or microorganisms that are removed, the downstream concentration of unwanted chemicals, the maximum flow rate, and the amount of water that can be filtered before the filter must be replaced. Water filters are used in a wide range of applications, including drinking water purification, swimming pools, industrial processes, and irrigation, among others.
